Although renowned for services to the mega yacht owners and crew, we are also attuned to the smaller boat market, as well, and, with our recently expanded team, are very much able to meet the needs of the customers owning yachts or commercial craft from 40 to 90 feet. In short, the Patton Marine, Inc. team of surveyors is capable of managing a broad spectrum of projects: from the restoration of an antique wooden sailing vessel to examining a 50-foot fiberglass sport fishing boat to advising on construction of steel hull motor yachts up to 400 feet, the experience is here with PMI.
As consultants, our work covers all phases and types of new construction, repairs or refits. We are also qualified to advise on classification requirements (LRS, ABS, RINA, DNV), USCG and MCA issues, and for vessels over 500 tons, we assist clients in meeting the ever-evolving SOLAS, MARPOL and ISM regulations.
In the mega yacht category, Patton Marine has surveyed over 950 yachts, sail and power ranging from 100' to over 413'. We have also surveyed countless custom and stock yachts from 50' to 100'.
In the commercial field, we have surveyed many vessels in the 100' to 400' range (ferry boats, cruise ships, fishing vessels, tugboats and research vessels). Our surveyors have experience surveying large commercial ships up to 500,000 tons.
